Concerned Residents of SCF Update Week of 5/23/2022

• Thanks again to everyone who sent Consumer Complaints into the AZ Attorney General’s office. The AZ Attorney Generals office has responded to some of the complaints with Pulte's reply to the complaint. Pulte's reply to the complaint is described as a denial of all grievances and further points out all SCF Home Purchasers signed legal papers absolving Pulte of any broken promises.

• Pulte's response did not explain why they continued to advertise, both verbally and in marketing materials, the further development of recreational centers and golf courses when they knew the build out of amenities was finished.

• People must respond to the AZ Attorney General's office requesting more than a denial and use of fine print used by lawyers to cover for corporations.

• We will continue to seek answers to Pulte’s fraudulent claims as individuals and hope that the AG will take on our collective questioning as a case against Pulte.

• Thanks to everyone who sent Consumer Complaints into the Attorney General’s office. Several people have sent in forms, but more are needed. Please visit our website on how to complete an online form, or if you want a paper copy to complete and send in, please contact us as www.Concernedresidentsofscf.org and we will deliver or mail a packet to you. The more people who have been mislead by Pulte Homes and file complaints with the Attorney General’s office the better chance we have of getting the Arizona Attorney General to take on our cause and sue Pulte Homes.

• A recent public disclosure request with the City of Buckeye has reveled that in 2016 Pulte Homes submitted for the nine holes of golf that make up the Mountain Course. At that time they were only planning on building 27 holes of golf, but up until November 2021 they used 45 holes of golf at build out in marketing materials distributed by Pulte staff at the sales office. This is false advertising that took place between 2016 and November 2021 and is fraudulent. If you purchased a home between 2016 and November 2021 and were led to believe more than 27 holes of golf would be constructed be sure to file a consumer complaint with the Attorney General’s office.

• Picketing -- We are putting all of our efforts in submitting AG Consumer Complaints so will postpone all picketing for the near future.

• The effort to submit consumer complaints to the AZ Attorney General Consumer Complaints continues. We are making excellent progress, many people have submitted the complaint form.

Concerned Citizens of SCF - Assistance in submitting a Consumer Compliant

• If you did submit a complaint form, you can expect the Attorney General Office to send a response. If they are asking for more information, please respond as soon as possible.

• Arizona Registrar of Contractors - If you receive a letter from the 'Arizona Registrar of Contractors', there is nothing you need to do unless you want to file an additional complaint for construction issues. The Attorney General sent your complaint over to the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ARC) only because Pulte is a licensed contractor with the state of Arizona. In the AG letter to the ARC it states, “We are providing you with a copy of the complaint so that your agency may take whatever additional action it finds appropriate. It also states “We (AG) are currently in the process of attempting to obtain a resolution with the company.”
